HOME

March 17, 2020

Hooray! I received an assignment early this morning. Well, not an assignment, but an invitation from my friend Pastor Christina to write an acrostic poem describing what Home means to me. It means so many things other than a structural building. Her invitation gives me ideas for a different post. But for now, here is my acrostic poem. Perhaps you may write one too today. Thank you, Christina!

HOME

H oney and butter prepared to drizzle

O oven bursting with scents tickling my nose

M other's table, the heart of my dwelling

E each chair welcomes all as we sip and break bread

Dear Friend,

Thank you for invitations, invitations to explore, to play, to create, to write, to communicate, to connect, to welcome, to gather, to love. Invitations are the gateway to Home.

Until,

Marie
